Why do
Ultrasonic Pressure Test
Rods need to
calibration?
Because the sensor of
the Ultrasonic Pressure
Test Rod is a very
sensitive parts, aging
will occur as the use
time increases. The
speed of aging is
directly related to the
length of use time, the
strength of the measured
energy, and the level of
the measured
temperature, etc. These
results affect the
accuracy of the
measurement.
The purpose of regular
calibration is to
monitor whether the
measurement accuracy of
the Ultrasonic Pressure
Test Rod has changed,
and whether the
magnitude of the change
is within an acceptable
range to ensure the
accuracy of the
measurement.
If the magnitude of the
change is within an
acceptable range, no
correction is required.
The report lists the
actual data.
If the magnitude of the
change is outside an
acceptable range, and
the conditions of the
Ultrasonic Pressure Test
Rod can be corrected,
correction is made to
correct the error,
restore the accuracy of
the measurement. The
report lists the
corrected data.
If the magnitude of the
change is outside an
acceptable range, and
the conditions of the
Ultrasonic Pressure Test
Rod cannot be corrected,
it means that which has
been severely aged and
cannot be used. The
report lists the actual

Why
the Ultrasonic Pressure
Test Rods divide
one-point calibration
and two-point
calibration?
Because each sensor of
the Ultrasonic Pressure
Test Rod has different
characteristics,
including sensitivity,
frequency and
temperature
characteristics. The
difference in frequency
characteristics is the
greatest. For each
additional frequency
point of calibration, the required
man-hours are increased
squarely, which directly
affects the cost and
prices.
Therefore, in
production, according to
the actual demand, it is
divided into two models:one-point
calibration and
two-point calibration.
Standard model:1
frequency point
calibration, check and
correction, basically
can meet the general
requirements. The
point
frequency is 28KHz.
High-freq. model:2
frequency point
calibration, check and
correction, can meet the
requirements of higher
frequencies. The
points
frequency are 28KHz &
300KHz.
THe 300KHz calibration
point can also be
changed to 1000KHz or
other frequencies
according to customer
requirements. |

Which frequencies can be
used as calibration and
correction points?
In addition to the
calibration base point
of 28KHz, customer can
choose to add the
following 7 frequencies
as check points as
needed. They are:40KHz,
68KHz, 80KHz, 130KHz,
300KHz, 1MHz & 1.7MHz.
However, the correction
is still limited to no
more than 2 frequency
points, including the
base point of 28KHz.
